Welcome to Route 66 Gold Miners.

The Brea chapter started just four years ago where monthly meetings were held right next door to Pederson’s Metal Detector Supply store in the city of Santa Ana.  We have since moved to our new location in the City of Brea.  The Brea Chapter takes an active role with many of the local rock & gem clubs in the area by presenting the opportunity to teach children and adults how to prospect and pan for gold.

 We hold Treasure Fest Metal Detecting Hunts four times a year, rain or shine and it’s become great fun for our members and their families. We also meet up at East Fork San Gabriel River for panning, sluicing, and dredging. We are also planning some other fun activities for our members and families.

Our winter and summer chapter outings are generally combined with other California GPAA chapters.  Route 66 Gold Miners proudly supports Public lands for the People ( PLP) who is constantly fighting for our rights as prospectors. Please Join and support the PLP for our children’s right to Public Land.

The Brea GPAA chapter meets on the Second Sunday of each month at Coco’s Restaurant in the Banquet Room at 4:00pm. Address is 1250 Imperial Hwy. Fullerton, California 92821 or phone (714) 990-0671.

RT66GM is looking for a new place to meet for our Chapter meetings.
